Our Mission

At Bee’s Wrap we are on a mission to cover the world in pollinators not plastic. A Plastic Free Future

Plastic Tides’ is on a mission to inspire and catalyze action toward a plastic-free future through adventure, education, and youth empowerment. Their global team works to create and implement community-centric programs that foster: nature-based experiential learning for youth; access to environmental education for populations underserved, underrepresented, and critically affected by the world’s plastic pollution and climate crises; and sustainable, circular economies rooted in local community structures. Plastic Tides’ Global Youth Mentor (GYM) Program gives motivated students the opportunity to become Youth Leaders and provides them with the tools and support to reduce plastic pollution in their communities. Youth Leaders, aged 12-18, are paired with GYM Mentors – scientists, environmental experts, and volunteers from diverse backgrounds – and are guided through change-based projects. GYM’s educational curriculum helps Youth Leaders to identify and implement a solution for a plastic waste problem in their specific community; collect quantifiable data on the removal and prevention of that waste; prompt community-centric behavioral change through education campaigns and volunteer events; petition local government and industry for better plastic management practices, and share their project findings through community outreach. This program is accessible to any motivated student and mentor who wants to take action, make an impact, and inspire the next generation to take action.
